ABOUT THE ROLE
Front Office Admin provide initial contact between the patient and the office. Responsibilities include coordinating patient care through scheduling, registration, file maintenance and billing procedures .
FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION
Answers the telephone. Schedules appointments. Directs calls to appropriate staff. Provides appropriate information as needed. Directs customers to appropriate staff. Registers patients. Enters or updates patient information in computer.
SKILLS REQUIRED FOR SUCCESS
High School Diploma or equivalent. Prior office experience preferably in a medical setting. Basic knowledge of computer skills. Basic medical terminology preferred.
