Dental Receptionist
Job Description
We are looking for a full time responsible, Dental Receptionist team member to join our friendly, professional dental office. The Dental Receptionist team member will handle various administrative tasks in our front office including communicating effectively with patients and maintaining an organizing administrative schedule. The Dental Receptionist team member must be detail oriented, team player, solution focused, friendly and approachable, self-motivated, self-starter, willing to learn and grow. Job Duties included (But are NOT limited to): Maintain and organize all administrative functions in the front office. Answering incoming calls and distributing calls or messages accordingly. Verify that all components of the appointments are prepared prior to the patient's arrival. Maintain an accurate case acceptance log for consultations. Maintain the overall cleanliness and appearance of the waiting room. Greeting patients and checking in patients. Scheduling Appointments accordingly with our policies. Confirming Appointments. Insurances Verification. Accurately calculate and explain treatment plans, address patients concern and answer any questions. Make financial arrangements with patients if necessary. Perform general office duties and other duties as required.
Requirements:
Full-time Monday through Thursdays. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills. Dental and/or Medical front office experience preferred. Experience with Dental Practice Management Software. Experience with Accounts Receivables preferred. Great administrative organizational skills. Strong computer skills and the ability to learn new programs. Must demonstrate a thorough knowledge of dentistry and dental procedures. Exceptional customer service skills. Minimum 1 year experience (preferred).
