Position Overview:

We are looking for a seasoned and enthusiastic Medical Receptionist to join our fast-paced, multi-provider primary care clinic. The ideal candidate is professional, organized, and capable of delivering exceptional patient service while juggling multiple administrative priorities.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet and check in patients in a friendly, efficient, and professional manner Schedule appointments and manage provider calendars accurately Verify insurance coverage and collect copayments Handle inbound and outbound phone calls, messages, and patient inquiries Maintain patient records and update demographic/insurance information in the EMR Process prior authorizations and referrals as needed Coordinate with providers and clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow Uphold HIPAA standards and clinic policies at all times

Minimum Qualifications:

3+ years of experience in a medical front office or administrative healthcare role Strong communication and interpersonal skills Comfortable working in a high-volume, multi-provider environment Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR systems) Preferred Qualifications Experience with medical billing and insurance verification Prior authorization and referral processing experience Familiarity with family medicine or primary care settings Experience with eClinical Works EMR system Medical Assistant experience or certification What We Offer Comprehensive PTO package Full benefits including medical and dental 401(k) plan with company contribution A supportive, patient-centered environment with growth opportunities Ready to Join Us?
