Our award-winning, privately-owned physical therapy company is seeking a friendly, energetic, and highly organized Medical Receptionist / Patient Care Coordinator for our award winning Lakewood clinic. Prior medical reception experience is required, and physical therapy experience is strongly preferred. Experience with
PROMPT EMR
is a plus.
Schedule:
Monday through
Friday Compensation:
$22-$25 per hour depending on experience
Responsibilities Include:
Answering phones and assisting patients professionally and compassionately Scheduling new and existing patients Following up on referrals Collecting co-pays and explaining patient financial responsibility Maintaining accurate patient information and documentation Supporting smooth day-to-day clinic operations Assisting with general clinic flow and maintaining a clean, organized, welcoming environment Supporting the team with light clinic support duties such as laundry, stocking supplies, and tidying treatment areas
Ideal Qualifications:
Prior medical reception experience required Physical therapy office experience strongly preferred Experience with
PROMPT EMR
preferred Excellent customer service and communication skills Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Dependable, positive, and team-oriented Comfortable with computers and learning new systems Compassionate with a heart for helping others Positive, upbeat attitude and ability to make patients feel welcomed and cared for Friendly and engaging personality with excellent customer service skills We are looking for someone who works hard, takes initiative, enjoys being part of a team, and helps create a positive experience for both patients and coworkers.
