In this energetic role, you will support food preparation, ensure cleanliness, and assist with various kitchen operations to keep our restaurant running smoothly. We're looking for motivated individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments and are passionate about hospitality and food service. Duties Assist with food preparation, including chopping, assembling, and portioning ingredients according to safety standards and recipes Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas through regular cleaning, sanitizing surfaces, and proper waste disposal Support food running and serving duties to ensure timely delivery of orders to customers Handle bussing duties by clearing tables, resetting dining areas, and managing dishware efficiently Practice safe manual handling and heavy lifting techniques when moving supplies or equipment to prevent injuries Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and payment transactions Follow all food safety protocols related to food handling, storage, and sanitation to ensure compliance with health regulations Experience Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided Familiarity with kitchen operations, food preparation, and basic cooking techniques is advantageous Experience with banquet or large-scale event catering is a plus Strong communication skills to effectively coordinate with team members and interact with customers in person Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including heavy lifting and long periods of standing or walking Knowledge of food safety standards and proper manual handling practices is desirable Hospitality experience that demonstrates excellent customer service skills will be highly valued Join us in delivering exceptional service through teamwork, enthusiasm, and dedication!
