About us Canyon Lakes Family Counseling Center We offer in person and online (telehealth) counseling visits for children, teens, adults, couples and families. Interested applicants must apply in person (resume and references required). Online applications will not be considered. Canyon Lakes Family Counseling Center is seeking a part-time to full-time front desk receptionist. Experience with medical insurance billing and verification preferred. Reception experience required, with a minimum of 1 to 2 years experience. Duties include, but are not limited to, answering phones, scheduling appointments, verifying insurance coverage, managing client accounts, accepting payments from clients, managing multiple therapists schedules, and completing various assigned tasks. Applicants must be proficient in basic computer skills, with ability to learn specialized applications used by practice.
Skills required:
Excellence in verbal and written communication, good organizational skills, proficient with computers and office machines, able to manage time well, especially when working under pressure, good interpersonal skills, can be a team player, has an understanding of HIPAA laws and client confidentiality.
