Front Desk Receptionist, Medical Office Seattle Sports and Regenerative Medicine•
Seattle, WA Status:
Full time, 40 hours per week
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, Hours Vary Pay:
$25-30/hr
DOE Description:
Our office is seeking an energetic, friendly, team-focused front desk receptionist at our office in South Lake Union.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS INCLUDE
Front Desk and Office Support:
  • Answer, screen, and direct incoming calls
  • Greet and escort visitors to meeting rooms or waiting area; communicate visitor arrival
  • Provide information and general assistance
  • Sort and distribute incoming and outgoing mail, shipping and receiving
  • General administrative and clerical support, file, copy and organize documents
  • Sign and report shipping and office supply invoices to supervisor
  • Maintain reception/kitchen

QUALIFICATIONS
Required
  • High school diploma or GED required, some college preferred
  • 1+ years of relevant experience in a professional office environment preferred
  • Basic computer skills including MS Office Suite (Word, Excel and Outlook)
  • Must be enthusiastic with excellent customer service skills, enjoy working with people and possess a friendly, outgoing, and positive personality
  • Strong verbal/written communication skills with ability to communicate effectively in a polished, professional, and friendly manner
  • Must have ability to multi-task, be detail-oriented, and adapt and show flexibility to changing job requirements
  • Must be able to pass a background check
Ideal Qualities:
  • Experience with medical scheduling and EHR systems
  • Experience with insurance i.
e. medical billing, authorizations, etc.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT
The majority of the work is performed in a professional office setting with a wide variety of people in differing functions, personalities and abilities.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The work is generally sedentary, requiring routine walking, standing, bending and carrying items weighing up to forty pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear.
