Job Description
Our Dental Clinic is seeking to hire a Dental Receptionist. We are a privately owned and operated clinic, with two dentists and hygienists on staff. We are a large clinic over 11 operatories. there are 3 floors (you will need to be okay to climb stairs) Clinic is on the 1st floor; doctors' offices, laundry, break room, storage and lab are on the 2nd floor...etc. Currently the hours would be Monday through Thursday 8am to 5pm, with a one-hour lunch break usually between 1-2pm. This candidate will be working alongside another Scheduling staff members, who will train candidate on the job We are looking for someone who is Cheerful and Helpful in a Professional Maner.

Greet patients throughout the day, especially in the morning, and keep the schedule updated. Ensure patient insurance information is current before appointments, and when possible, address phone messages left overnight or while away from the phone, do your best handling concerns within your job scope. Keep health forms up to date for patients on schedule when needed, have patient files ready for the next day, and confirm schedules. Check in patients and answer calls throughout the day, taking messages as needed. Ensuring that details are correct especially with insurance and patient contact info. There are many more tasks and responsibilities to go over. but for the job post I think the picture is clear. We use OpenDental and NexHealth as our patient management systems. We take multiple payment types. We will train Candidate to be able to utilize our tech the way we currently do. Training is always a part of starting at a new adventure and we understand it takes time. The Candidate should have some experience working in this field-Dental, with a Scheduling/ Reception background. A knowledge of Dental insurance and sending claims would be an exceptional benefit.
