Medical Receptionist

Job Description

STRONG multitasking abilities required. Teamwork skills, and comfort working in a high-energy, fast-paced environment required. Our front desk team is the first impression and the strength of the clinic. We need someone who is confident in their skills and ability to jump in and help wherever it's needed. We need a leader to help guide the flow of the clinic and get things done. Experience in medical office setting and medical insurances preferred, excellent Customer service on the phone and in person required. Must be willing to travel to either of our locations: North Spokane and the Spokane Valley Some of the duties:
  • Greet patients
  • Schedule appointments/procedures as directed by physician
  • Update patient demographics
  • Verify insurance information
  • Monitors daily schedules
  • Referring patient's out to other services or facilites
  • Daily patient reminder calls
  • Verifies insurance information
  • Answer phones
  • Collect co-pays and outstanding balances at time of service Phone etiquette experience is a must We are seeking a team-oriented professional who can handle multiple tasks with accuracy, communicate effectively with patients and staff, and thrive in a fast-paced oncology setting while maintaining a high level of compassion and attention to detail
