Our mission is to help patients recover faster and return to their normal activities with minimal disruption, utilizing advanced treatment options and compassionate support. Job Overview We are seeking an experienced, dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative skills, excellent patient service abilities, and familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems. This role involves managing patient interactions, scheduling appointments, verifying insurance, and supporting the overall efficiency of our clinic operations. Duties Greet patients warmly and provide exceptional front desk customer service while managing multi-line phone systems with professionalism. Schedule patient appointments accurately using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) system. Verify insurance coverage and benefits, including Medicare and other third-party payers, ensuring proper documentation review. Collect and process payments related to medical billing and collections, maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations. Maintain organized medical records, including filing, data entry, and updating patient information within EHR systems. Assist with administrative tasks such as intake procedures, documentation review, and managing care plans. Support medical office management by coordinating with clinical staff to ensure smooth clinic operations and efficient patient flow. Experience Prior experience in a medical office environment or healthcare setting is required. Familiarity with EMR systems such as Epic, Meditech, Athenahealth, or Advanced MD is essential. Strong computer skills are mandatory. Excellent phone etiquette, typing skills (including 10-key), and ability to handle multi-line phone systems efficiently. Demonstrated understanding of HIPAA compliance, medical terminology, insurance verification processes, and health information management. Pay:
