In this pivotal role, you will be the friendly face and efficient coordinator that ensures a seamless patient experience from check-in to check-out. Your energetic approach and exceptional customer service skills will help foster a welcoming environment while managing administrative tasks with precision. The ideal candidate will possess strong medical office experience, excellent computer skills, and a thorough understanding of health information management systems. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be an integral part of a dedicated healthcare team committed to delivering outstanding patient care. Duties Greet patients warmly, verify their appointment details, and facilitate smooth patient flow throughout the clinic Manage patient check-in and check-out processes Schedule appointments efficiently, coordinate with clinical staff, and handle rescheduling as needed Collect and process payments, including medical collections and insurance co-payments, ensuring accuracy in documentation review and billing procedures Maintain accurate medical records, ensure compliance with HIPAA confidentiality policies, and manage documentation review processes Answer multi-line phone systems with professional phone etiquette, address patient inquiries promptly, and direct calls appropriately Support administrative functions such as filing, data entry, and managing clinic supplies Collaborate with clinical staff to facilitate care plans by providing essential administrative support Experience Proven clinic or medical office experience in a front desk or administrative support role within a healthcare setting Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems. Previous experience with Dentrix a significant plus! Strong understanding of health insurance policies, Medicare guidelines, and HIPAA compliance standards Bilingual abilities are a plus to effectively serve diverse patient populations Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive medical records with confidentiality while maintaining accuracy in documentation review Excellent customer service skills combined with clerical proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and office management tools Experience working in a dental clinic environment is highly desirable but not mandatory Join us in making a difference by providing exceptional administrative support that enhances patient satisfaction and operational efficiency.
