What You'll Do:
As a Medical Receptionist, you'll be the first point of contact for patients and visitors—setting the tone for a positive care experience. You'll manage front desk operations, patient check-ins, and scheduling, playing a key role in our day-to-day flow and operational success.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet patients with warmth, compassion, and professionalism Confirm and update insurance and demographic details at each visit Schedule and coordinate provider appointments, adjusting as needed Assist patients who missed appointments to encourage treatment continuity Handle prior authorizations and explain patient financial responsibilities Distribute, verify, and scan forms, including handbooks and intake documents Collect co-pays and process payments; set up payment plans when needed Maintain a clean, organized front office and uphold patient confidentiality Provide courteous, effective communication by phone and in person Participate in team huddles and contribute to a supportive work environment
What We're Looking For:
High School Diploma required; Associate degree preferred 1+ year of experience in a fast-paced medical office required Customer service and/or healthcare experience strongly preferred Proficient with EMRs, Microsoft Office, and phone systems Strong communication, attention to detail, and organizational skills Compassionate mindset and a desire to support patients in recovery Why CleanSlate?
