Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and organized Dental Receptionist to join our dental team! In this role, you will be the welcoming face of our clinic, managing patient interactions, scheduling appointments, and ensuring smooth administrative operations. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will help create a positive experience for every patient while maintaining efficient office workflows. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a passion for healthcare support, and experience with dental office systems. Duties Greet patients warmly, verify their appointment details, and complete check-in and check-out processes Schedule appointments efficiently using dentrix and coordinate follow-up visits Manage patient records with accuracy, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and confidentiality policies Handle incoming calls with professional phone etiquette, addressing inquiries and directing calls appropriately Process insurance claims, verify coverage, and assist patients with billing questions Maintain a clean, organized front desk area while supporting overall office management tasks Experience Previous experience working in a dental clinic or medical office environment is highly preferred Proficiency with Dentrix preferred Knowledge of Dental billing procedures, CDT coding, and dental insurance processes Demonstrated ability to handle collection processes professionally and accurately Familiarity with clinical confidentiality policies and healthcare documentation review standards Excellent computer skills including Dentrix and Dexis Exceptional customer service skills combined with strong organizational abilities to support seamless front desk operations Join us in making a difference by providing exceptional administrative support that ensures our patients receive the highest quality care. Pay:
$18.00 - $22.00 per hour
