Job Description
About Us Moreland Ear, Nose & Throat is a patient-centered specialty clinic dedicated to providing high-quality ENT care in a welcoming and professional environment. We are seeking a friendly and organized Medical Receptionist to be the first point of contact for our patients and help support the smooth daily operations of our office. Responsibilities Greet patients and visitors in a professional, courteous manner Check in patients, verify insurance, and collect co-pays and balances Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments Answer and route phone calls promptly and accurately Maintain and update patient records in the EMR system Coordinate with providers, audiologists and medical assistants to support clinic workflow Process referrals, authorizations, and medical correspondence as needed Maintain a clean and organized reception area Ensure compliance with HIPAA and clinic confidentiality standards Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent (required) Previous medical receptionist or healthcare office experience preferred Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance processes a plus Experience with EMR systems (EPIC) and Microsoft Office Strong customer service, communication, and multitasking skills Detail-oriented and dependable team player Schedule & Benefits Full-time position, Monday-Friday (no weekends or holidays) Paid time off and holiday pay Health, dental, and vision insurance options Retirement plan available Supportive, team-oriented clinic environment
