Overview We are seeking a dedicated and organized Medical Receptionist/Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our medical office, providing excellent patient care, and maintaining accurate medical records. The ideal candidate will be familiar with front desk operations and have experience in a medical office environment. Duties Greet patients and visitors warmly, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere at the front desk. Manage patient check-in and check-out processes efficiently. Schedule appointments and coordinate patient flow within the clinic. Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations. Review documentation for completeness and accuracy before filing or entering into electronic systems. Assist with medical billing processes, including verifying insurance information and processing payments. •Collaborate with other staff members to ensure high-quality patient care and office management. Qualifications Previous experience in a medical office setting is preferred, particularly in front desk operations or medical records management. Familiarity with medical billing practices and documentation review is a plus. Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations to maintain patient confidentiality. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple tasks simultaneously. Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
