Job Description
Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and professional Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact for our office, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring smooth operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in a medical or dental office setting and possess strong organizational and communication skills.Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage patient inquiries
- Collect necessary paperwork
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations
- Assist with scheduling, including coordinating appointments with specialists
- Manage dental records, including filing, scanning, and organizing documents
- Provide administrative support to clinical staff as needed
- Familiarity with Ortho2 or similar dental software is a plus
- Operate phone systems and direct calls to appropriate individuals
Skills:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Proficient in using computer software for data entry and record keeping
- Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures preferred
