We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Medical Billing Specialist to join our growing outpatient physical therapy practice in West Virginia. The ideal candidate will have experience with medical billing, insurance claims, payment posting, and denial management.

Responsibilities:

Investigate and resolve claim denials and underpayments Post insurance and patient payments accurately Communicate with insurance carriers regarding claim status and appeals Investigate and resolve claim denials and underpaymentsAssist patients with billing questions and account balances Maintain accurate billing records and ensure compliance with payer requirements Work closely with clinic staff to resolve billing issues and improve revenue cycle performance

Qualifications:

Previous medical billing experience required (physical therapy or outpatient rehabilitation experience preferred) Experience with Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance plans Strong computer skills and proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR) and billing software
