Job Description
Job Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Part-time Scribe and become an essential part of delivering exceptional patient care! In this role, you will assist the doctor by accurately documenting patient encounters, ensuring seamless communication within the medical team, and maintaining precise medical records. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will help streamline clinical workflows, improve documentation accuracy, and uphold the highest standards of confidentiality and compliance. Responsibilities Transcribe detailed clinical notes during patient visits, ensuring accuracy and completeness of medical documentation Utilize Electronic Medical Records (EMR) to input, update, and manage patient information efficiently Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) regulations to protect patient privacy and confidentiality Demonstrate proficiency in medical/dental terminology Qualifications Prior experience in a medical or dental office is highly preferred Strong transcription skills with excellent typing speed and accuracy Knowledge of medical/dental terminology Demonstrated understanding of HIPAA compliance and confidentiality protocols Exceptional writing skills with attention to detail in medical documentation Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and accuracy Experience with electronic health records management systems is a plus If you are organized, dependable, and enjoy working in a healthcare environment, we would love to hear from you!
