Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Medical Scribe to join our dedicated healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess strong medical documentation skills, a thorough understanding of medical terminology, and experience with electronic health records systems. This role offers an exciting opportunity to support clinicians by accurately capturing patient encounters and ensuring precise medical records management. Responsibilities Transcribe detailed clinical notes during patient examinations, ensuring accuracy and completeness in real-time. Assist healthcare providers by documenting patient histories, physical examinations, and treatment plans within electronic health record (EHR) systems. Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA regulations and confidentiality policies while managing sensitive medical information. Support the organization and management of medical records, ensuring they are complete, accurate, and properly stored. Collaborate with medical staff to facilitate efficient patient flow and documentation processes. Utilize EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems effectively to input data swiftly and accurately. Demonstrate knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology to enhance documentation quality. Requirements Proven experience in medical transcription or as a medical scribe in a clinical setting, preferably with emergency room experience. Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems and electronic health records management. Strong typing skills with high accuracy and attention to detail. Knowledge of medical office procedures, clinical confidentiality policies, and HIPAA compliance standards. Understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and documentation best practices. Excellent writing skills combined with the ability to multitask efficiently in fast-paced environments. Prior experience in healthcare settings involving patient interaction is highly desirable.
