The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of medical assisting, documentation, and patient care, with experience in primary or urgent care settings. This role offers an exciting opportunity to support healthcare providers by managing clinical tasks, documenting patient encounters accurately, and ensuring seamless patient flow within a fast-paced medical practice. The candidate must demonstrate proficiency in electronic health records (EHR/EHR systems), medical terminology, and medical documentation to enhance patient service quality and operational efficiency. Duties Perform clinical tasks including taking vital signs, patient intake, and assisting with procedures. Document patient encounters thoroughly and accurately using EMR/EHR systems, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations. Support physicians and healthcare providers by preparing examination rooms, sterilizing equipment, and managing medical supplies. Assist with medication administration as needed to ensure optimal patient care. Manage administrative responsibilities such as assisting in scheduling appointments, updating medical records, coding for diagnoses, and handling insurance documentation. Facilitate communication between patients and providers by providing excellent patient service and education on treatment plans or medication instructions. Maintain basic knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, and medical terminology to support clinical accuracy Experience Must be Bilingual English/Spanish. 1 year prior experience as a Certified Medical Assistant and/or Scribe in a primary or urgent care setting is required. Demonstrated proficiency in EMR/EHR systems with experience managing electronic health records efficiently. Hands-on experience with medication administration protocols and vital signs collection. Familiarity with medical office tasks including scheduling, record keeping, and insurance processing. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
