Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Medical Transcriptionist to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology, with the ability to accurately transcribe audio recordings into clear, comprehensive medical reports. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to patient care documentation while working in a collaborative environment. Responsibilities Transcribe dictated medical reports, including patient histories, examination notes, and treatment plans, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Review and edit transcriptions for clarity, grammar, and adherence to medical standards. Maintain confidentiality of all patient information in compliance with privacy regulations. Collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff to clarify unclear audio recordings or ambiguous information. Organize and manage transcription files efficiently for easy retrieval and record-keeping. Stay current with medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and industry best practices through ongoing education. Ensure timely completion of transcription tasks to support clinical workflows and patient care. Experience Proven experience in medical transcription within a healthcare setting. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology. Demonstrated proficiency in transcription software and typing skills with high accuracy rates. Prior experience working in a medical office environment is preferred. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently while maintaining effective communication with healthcare professionals.
Pay:
$20.00 - $23.00 per hour
