  • 17:00) We are seeking an experienced Medical Scribe to accompany physicians during patient encounters and accurately document clinical information in real time.
The ideal candidate will have strong medical terminology knowledge, excellent written communication skills, and the ability to accurately transcribe physician encounters while working in a fast-paced clinical environment. Required Qualifications Typing speed of 90+ WPM required. Minimum 6 months of experience as a Medical Scribe . Strong computer proficiency and ability to quickly learn new software applications. Excellent written communication skills, including strong spelling, punctuation, grammar, and proofreading abilities.
Working knowledge of:
Medical terminology, Anatomy and physiology, Diagnostic procedures, Pharmacology, Treatment assessment Ability to accurately listen to and document physician-patient encounters. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment. Preferred Qualifications College education in a healthcare or related field. Previous experience with CS-Link/Epic . Experience working in a hospital, physician practice, or outpatient clinical setting. Key Responsibilities Accompany the physician during patient encounters and document the encounter accurately. Transcribe the physician-dictated patient history and chief complaints . Document physical examination findings and procedures performed by the physician. Transcribe and accurately record results from laboratory and radiographic studies . Document patient education and physician explanations regarding the risks and benefits of procedures and treatments .
Transcribe pending physician orders for:
Referrals Diagnostic tests Medications Procedures Accurately document diagnoses, symptoms, follow-up instructions, and prescription information as dictated by the physician. Prepare, review, and edit scribed documentation for accuracy and completeness. Ensure all documentation is properly prepared for physician review and signature . Maintain confidentiality of patient information and follow applicable HIPAA and organizational policies. Perform other related duties as assigned. Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented Medical Scribe with at least 6 months of experience, excellent typing and transcription skills, and a strong understanding of medical terminology and clinical documentation. 90+ WPM typing speed is a mandatory requirement. Experience with CS-Link/Epic is highly preferred.
