This is an in-office position for someone who is organized, dependable, and thrives in a fast-paced medical environment. The ideal candidate has excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to multitask while providing exceptional service to our clients. Responsibilities Greet and assist clients in a professional and friendly manner. Answer and manage incoming phone calls. Schedule appointments and coordinate expert related files. Verify and update patient information. Assist with medical records, referrals, and other administrative tasks. Communicate effectively with physicians, patients, attorneys, insurance adjusters, and case managers. Support the daily operations of a busy med-legal department in an orthopedic office. Requirements Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail. Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Professional, reliable, and team-oriented. Proficient with computers and willing to learn new software. Previous medical office experience is preferred but not required. Knowledge of medical terminology. Familiarity with legal terminology or experience working with personal injury (PI), workers' compensation, medical-legal cases, attorneys, or insurance claims is a strong plus. Experience in an orthopedic or specialty medical practice is preferred.
Pay:
$22.00 - $24.00 per hour
