Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Medical Scribe, where your expertise will directly support physicians and enhance patient care. In this vital role, you will be responsible for accurately documenting medical encounters, managing electronic health records (EHR), and ensuring seamless communication between healthcare providers and patients. Your attention to detail, knowledge of medical terminology, and commitment to confidentiality will help streamline clinical workflows and improve overall healthcare delivery. Duties Transcribe detailed clinical notes during patient visits, ensuring accuracy and completeness of medical documentation Manage electronic health records (EHR) and electronic medical records (EMR) systems to update patient information efficiently Assist healthcare providers by capturing vital signs, medical history, and other relevant data during consultations Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) compliance and clinical confidentiality policies Support physicians with documentation of diagnoses, treatment plans, procedures, and follow-up instructions Facilitate communication between patients and providers by recording questions, concerns, and responses accurately Organize and file medical records securely in accordance with hospital or clinic protocols Demonstrate proficiency in medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and emergency room procedures to enhance documentation quality Skills Proven experience with transcription services within a healthcare setting or medical office experience Strong knowledge of EMR/EHR systems for efficient management of electronic health records Excellent typing speed and writing skills to ensure real-time documentation accuracy Deep understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and clinical confidentiality policies Ability to achieve and maintain HIPAA compliance at all times during documentation processes Familiarity with medical transcription tools and electronic health record management software Experience working in fast-paced environments such as emergency rooms or urgent care clinics is highly desirable This role is ideal for motivated individuals eager to grow their career in healthcare support while contributing to high-quality patient care. Pay:
$21.00 - $22.00 per hour
