Position Description:

Mountaintop Dermatology is seeking an amazing college graduate who is considering medical school or PA school to work as a Medical Assistant/Scribe alongside our dermatologist and assist with patient care. This is a great opportunity to expand your clinical knowledge and gain experience in the field of medicine. All necessary training to succeed at this position will provided on the job, all we ask is that you bring an outstanding attitude and great work ethic. Duties include, but are not limited to, working in the front and back office, scheduling, answering phones, rooming patients, obtaining patient medical history, assisting with procedures, medical documentation (scribing), relaying results to patients, maintaining and stocking patient rooms, sterilizing instruments/equipment, and handling medication refills. Ideal candidates have a strong aptitude for attention to detail, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, excellent organizational, problem solving and communication skills. You will also be mentored in your future career goals and allowed opportunities for studying for graduate school standardized exams. We expect a 2-year commitment with a starting pay of $18.00 -$19.00 depending on experience.

Qualifications:

We are seeking individuals that care about others. Ideal candidates must have a high aptitude for learning and a great attitude for teamwork. Also, team members will have strong verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to accommodate a full-time work schedule, with regular attendance and timeliness.
