Job Description

- The Medical Records Clerk assembles, organized and manages patients' health information and charts. You will perform basic administrative, operational, customer support, and data-entry tasks, primarily working on routine, structured assignments. You will report to the Center Administrator.
Job Responsibilities:
- + Ensure all medical forms are identified, completed, and signed + Enter required patient information into the electronic records system + Communicate with physicians and staff to clarify diagnoses or obtain additional information + Assign codes to diagnoses and procedures + Operate within defined work expectations, quality standards, and priorities, under close supervision and established guidelines •Use your skills to make an impact•Required Qualifications•+ Bilingual English and Spanish + 2+ years of Medical Records experience + Strong organizational skills + Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel + Quick to learn new systems + Excellent written and verbal communication skills + Willing to travel locally, with occasional overnight stays + Committed to enhancing consumer experiences within a continuous improvement environment •Preferred Qualifications•+ Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in a related field + Previous healthcare or health insurance experience + Familiarity with medical terminology and/or ICD-9 codes •

- This role is considered patient-facing and is part of the company's Tuberculosis (TB) screening program. If selected for this role, you will be required to be screened for TB. \#LI-MD1
