Hinsdale & New Lenox Modern Pain Consultants is a renowned Interventional Pain Practice committed to providing exceptional patient care and innovative pain management solutions. We are a well-established, higher volume Interventional Pain Practice seeking a seasoned, talented full-time Medical Scribe/MD Resident with a can-do attitude and strong professionalism. You must be computer savvy for this position. We are EMR - based, using EMA; Experience with EMA is very beneficial, but not required. Looking for candidates who want a long-term, stable position with opportunity for advancement. As a Medical Scribe, you will be responsible for providing concierge level surgery scheduling support to our patients. This includes one on one consultation, an explanation of how the procedures may be covered and follow up as necessary.Essential Functions/Duties/Responsibilities :
Documenting patients' visits by taking notes and entering them in the electronic health records system in real- time Assisting providers in patient visits and consultations Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure consistent and comprehensive patient documentation Coordinate with physician to complete and submit medical records Working knowledge of medical terminology and accepted abbreviations Recognition of physical exam process and ability to record exam details Computer proficiency and ability to quickly learn new applications Communication skills and the ability to coordinate and cooperate with multiple members of the health care team Organizational skills with focus on tracking patient care and improving patient flow Professional demeanor and recognition of privacy considerations for patients and families Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations when handling sensitive patient information.Qualifications & Skills:
