Job Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Medical Scribe and Assistant, where you will collaborate closely with healthcare providers to transcribe and manage electronic health records (EHR) while supporting administrative tasks within a busy medical office environment. Responsibilities Accurately transcribe physician-patient interactions in real-time using electronic health record (EHR) systems, ensuring precise medical documentation. Assist healthcare providers by managing electronic health records (EHR), updating patient charts, and maintaining comprehensive medical records. Support clinical staff by preparing examination rooms, handling medical supplies, and organizing patient files in accordance with confidentiality policies. Achieve HIPAA compliance by safeguarding protected health information (PHI) during all documentation and communication activities. Demonstrate strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology to facilitate clear and accurate record-keeping. Interact professionally with patients Utilize EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems efficiently for data entry, retrieval, and management of patient information. Qualifications Proven experience in medical office settings or as a medical scribe is highly preferred; familiarity with EMR/EHR systems is essential. Excellent transcription skills with the ability to type quickly and accurately under pressure. Strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and clinical confidentiality policies such as HIPAA. Demonstrated ability to maintain meticulous medical documentation while adhering to privacy standards. Prior experience in emergency room settings or with medical transcription is a plus; however, motivated learners are encouraged to apply. Exceptional writing skills paired with keen attention to detail for precise record management. Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments while managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
