Duties Transcribe detailed clinical notes during patient visits, capturing relevant medical history, symptoms, diagnoses, and treatment plans with accuracy and speed Manage electronic health records (EHR) systems by inputting, updating, and organizing patient information in compliance with HIPAA and confidentiality policies Assist healthcare providers by preparing documentation ahead of patient encounters and ensuring all medical records are complete and accessible Support physicians during patient examinations by documenting vital signs, physician observations, and procedural details in real time Maintain strict adherence to clinical confidentiality policies while handling sensitive medical documentation and records Collaborate with medical staff to ensure accurate coding and classification of diagnoses for billing purposes Demonstrate physiology and anatomy knowledge to accurately interpret provider instructions and document complex medical terminology Requirements Proven experience in medical office settings or as a Medical Scribe preferred, with familiarity in EMR (Electronic Medical Records) or EHR systems Strong transcription skills with excellent typing speed and accuracy Knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, and clinical procedures Ability to achieve HIPAA compliance by safeguarding patient information at all times Experience in medical documentation, medical transcription, or related fields is highly desirable Exceptional writing skills combined with attention to detail for precise record-keeping Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure environments such as emergency rooms or busy clinics Demonstrated understanding of clinical confidentiality policies and healthcare regulations Join us as a Medical Scribe and become an essential part of delivering outstanding patient care through accurate documentation!
