Job Description

GENERAL SUMMARY

The ideal candidate will have exceptional customer service skills, be willing to work a flexible on-site schedule within the HME business hours, have a strong desire to learn, and be open to being taught as well as learning independently. Knowledge of HME and/or medical terminology is encouraged. Proficiency in computer, phone and interpersonal skills is essential.

  • EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
  • Required Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GEDDemonstrated proficiency with personal computers and standard office equipmentStrong written and verbal communication skillsOrganizational and interpersonal competencies essential for professional medical office environmentsAbility to perform mathematical calculations accuratelyAnalytical capability to gather data, compile reports, and manage special projectsProficiency in face-to-face, telephone, and computer-based communicationAbility to work independently and collaboratively within a team structureProfessional demeanor consistent with medical office standards•
Preferred Qualifications:
  • College coursework in business or related fieldFamiliarity with medical terminology and home medical equipment (HME) industry knowledgeSelf-directed work approach with demonstrated ability to learn independently
