Tuesday & Wednesday, Day Shift (2 days per week) Position Summary ACCESS Family Care is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Medical Scribe to join our healthcare team. The Medical Scribe will work directly with providers to accurately document patient encounters, assist with electronic medical record (EMR) documentation, and help improve provider efficiency. This part-time position is scheduled for Tuesdays and Wednesdays and is ideal for individuals interested in healthcare and medical documentation. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Accurately document patient visits in real time during medical appointments. Enter patient histories, physical exam findings, assessments, and treatment plans into the EMR. Review charts for completeness and accuracy. Assist providers with retrieving laboratory, imaging, and other patient information. Document orders, referrals, and follow-up instructions as directed by the provider. Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations. Support clinic workflow to improve patient care and provider productivity. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous medical scribe, medical assistant, healthcare, or medical office experience preferred. Knowledge of medical terminology strongly preferred. Strong computer and typing skills. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment.
