Job Description

Medical Assistant/Scribe Job Description:
The Medical Assistant/Scribe takes direction from a Physician or FNP and will perform day-to-day clinical duties. This requires meeting with clients, consulting with other physicians or FNP's, completing reports and other consultation with other professionals in the office, and general office management.
Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Coordinating all activities regarding required medical assistant duties and responsibilities in a clinic setting.
  • Assisting the Physician or FNP during medication clinics.
  • Monitoring client progress and problems between medication clinics and reporting relevant findings to the NP.
  • Complete reports, records, logs, and other data as required for client records.
  • Participating in consultation and education activities.
Qualifications:
  • Ability to take direction from Physician or FNP.
  • Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations within the registration staff at all rural health clinics.
