Full Job Description Duties:
  • Rooming patients: Obtaining vital signs, administering shots, and performing electrocardiograms
  • Accompany healthcare professionals during patient encounters and document medical information in real-time
  • Prepare and organize patient medical records
  • Enter patient information, medical history, and examination findings into electronic health record (EHR) systems
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing paperwork, sending referrals, and completing prior authorizations
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure accurate and complete documentation
Requirements:
  • Previous experience as a medical scribe is preferred but not required
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient computer skills, including experience with EHR systems
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
