Job Description

Job Summary Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Medical Assistant and Scribe, where you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care while efficiently managing clinical documentation. This position combines hands-on medical assisting duties with real-time charting and electronic health record (EHR) management, ensuring seamless communication between patients and providers. You will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals in a fast-paced environment. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will contribute to a positive patient experience and operational excellence. Responsibilities Assist healthcare providers during patient examinations by preparing rooms, taking vital signs, and documenting clinical notes accurately in EHR systems. Manage patient intake processes by collecting medical histories, updating records, and ensuring all documentation complies with privacy regulations. Support medical office operations through scheduling appointments, verifying insurance information, and maintaining medical records with precision. Utilize knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and ICD coding to ensure accurate documentation and billing processes. Conduct EMR/EHR management tasks such as data entry, chart updates, and retrieval of patient information for ongoing care coordination. Assist in maintaining a clean, organized clinical environment while adhering to safety protocols and infection control standards. Experience Prior medical office experience is preferred Demonstrated proficiency in electronic health records (EHR/EMR) systems and medical documentation practices. Knowledge of pharmacology, ICD coding, anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology to ensure accurate patient records and billing. Strong patient service skills combined with excellent communication abilities to support a welcoming environment for all patients. $20.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 - 70.0 per week
