Must be able to function as front desk staff and answer calls, welcome members, perform check out Responsibilities Transcribe detailed clinical notes during patient encounters, ensuring accuracy and completeness in accordance with medical documentation standards. Assist healthcare providers with routine clinical tasks, including preparing examination rooms and managing medical supplies. Manage electronic health records (EHR) and electronic medical records (EMR) systems to document patient histories, diagnoses, treatment plans, and follow-up instructions efficiently. Ensure compliance with HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) regulations by maintaining strict confidentiality of patient information and adhering to all privacy policies. Support patient interaction by verifying demographics, updating medical histories, and answering basic questions under supervision. Demonstrate proficiency in medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and clinical confidentiality policies to accurately support documentation and communication. Maintain organized medical records, ensuring all documentation aligns with healthcare standards for accuracy and security. Skills Strong transcription skills with the ability to quickly convert spoken words into precise written records. Prior experience working in a medical office setting or healthcare environment is highly preferred. Knowledge of EMR/EHR systems for efficient management of electronic health records. Achieving HIPAA compliance through diligent handling of sensitive patient data and understanding of privacy regulations. Excellent typing speed combined with strong writing skills for accurate medical documentation. Familiarity with medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and clinical confidentiality policies to support effective communication. Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Good interpersonal skills for positive patient interaction and teamwork within the healthcare setting.
