OBJECTIVE

With a positive and cheerful attitude, transcribe specialty communication from all members of the medical staff from recorded dictation and patient charts.

REPORTS TO

Site Manager

STATUS 3/4

time (30+ hours per week)

SCHEDULE

Monday - Thursday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Friday 8:00 am to 1:00 pm. These are our normal office hours. However, work hours for this position fluctuate based on our doctors' availability and the patient schedule.

SKILLS REQUIRED

General office skills: telephone, filing, keyboard, 10-key Computer knowledge Good organization skills Good written and verbal communication Ability to work independently Detail orientated Good listening skills Pleasant, cooperative, caring attitude Willing to work with others to set and achieve goals

PHYSICAL ABILITIES

Sit for extended periods of time Lift up to 50 pounds Answer telephones Acute hearing Use keyboard Good visual acuity for computer screen, etc.
