In this vital role, you will provide exceptional medical support across diverse specialties, Your responsibilities will encompass clinical tasks, and managing patient intake, as well as administrative duties like documenting encounters in Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems with precision. Duties Perform comprehensive patient intake procedures, including collecting medical histories and recording vital signs accurately. Document detailed clinical notes in EHR systems promptly and accurately, ensuring compliance with ICD coding standards and medical terminology. Manage patient flow by scheduling appointments, and coordinating follow-up care. Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care delivery in both inpatient and outpatient environments. Experience Proven experience as a Medical Assistant or Scribe in fast-paced healthcare settings such as dermatology clinics, hospital medicine units, urgent care centers, or emergency departments. Familiarity with EHR systems and proficiency in medical documentation practices including ICD coding. Knowledge of medical terminology across various specialties including internal medicine, geriatrics, surgical procedures, PICU care, and trauma centers. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is required; additional certifications related to emergency medicine or surgical assistance are a plus. Strong understanding of physiology and anatomy to support accurate documentation and patient assessments.
