Utilize word processing tools effectively to format documents according to organizational guidelines. Apply knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology to accurately interpret clinical notes and reports. Maintain confidentiality of all patient information in accordance with privacy laws and organizational policies. Collaborate with healthcare providers to clarify ambiguous or unclear dictations for precise documentation. Ensure timely completion of transcription tasks to support clinical workflows and patient care continuity. Experience Proven experience in medical transcription or scribing within a healthcare setting. Strong proficiency in English language skills, including grammar, spelling, and punctuation. Familiarity with word processing tools commonly used in medical environments. Knowledge of medical office procedures and familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems is preferred. Solid understanding of medical terminology across various specialties along with anatomy and physiology knowledge. Excellent proofreading skills with keen attention to detail for error detection and correction. Typing speed that supports efficient transcription without compromising accuracy.
