Medical Assistant/Scribe
Job Description
We are seeking a Professional, High Energy Scribe/Medical Assistant to support clinical and administrative tasks, ensuring high-quality patient care.
Key responsibilities include:
Verifying patient information, recording medical history, and data entry into EMR during visits Assisting with patient preparation, sterilizing equipment, and providing education on pre- and post-operative care Managing clinical supplies, cleaning, and sanitizing rooms and instruments Handling patient triage, answering calls, insurance verification, scheduling, and managing lab results Maintaining patient confidentiality, HIPAA compliance, and balancing financial transactions Applying skills across various medical practice areas and working effectively with multiple computer programs Qualifications include: Medical Assistant Certification or 1 year of relevant experience Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, CPT/ICD-10 coding preferred Strong computer skills, typing proficiency, and customer service abilities Reliable transportation and attention to detail Ability to react calmly in emergencies and work in a team environment Physical demands: Includes prolonged standing, lifting up to 50 pounds, and performing various physical activities required for clinical tasks.Benefits:
