Medical Scribe

Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Medical Scribe to assist healthcare providers by accurately documenting patient encounters in real time. The Medical Scribe will play a critical role in improving provider efficiency and ensuring high-quality patient records. Key Responsibilities Accompany providers during patient encounters Enter orders, lab requests, and referrals as directed by the provider Maintain accurate, thorough, and timely medical records Ensure compliance with HIPAA and healthcare regulations Assist with chart review and completion Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework in healthcare or science preferred Strong typing and computer skills (minimum ~50-60 WPM recommended) Excellent listening, writing, and communication skills Familiarity with medical terminology (preferred but not required; training may be provided) Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment Preferred Experience Previous scribing experience or clinical exposure Knowledge of EMR systems (eClinicalworks)
