In this vital role, you will provide exceptional support to healthcare providers by accurately documenting patient encounters, managing electronic health records, and ensuring seamless clinical operations. Your energetic approach and commitment to excellence will help enhance patient care experiences while maintaining strict adherence to confidentiality and compliance standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to combine clinical assistance with medical documentation, contributing directly to efficient and compassionate healthcare delivery. Responsibilities Accurately transcribe physician-patient interactions in real-time during medical examinations, ensuring clarity and completeness of medical documentation. Manage electronic health records (EHR) systems by inputting, updating, and organizing patient data in accordance with HIPAA regulations and clinical confidentiality policies. Assist healthcare providers with preparing exam rooms, sterilizing equipment, and supporting patient assessments. Process medication refills, clinical messages, test-result tasks, and patient follow-up according to physician direction and practice protocols. Coordinate orders, referrals, records, and follow-up needs identified during the encounter. Maintain comprehensive medical records by documenting vital signs, medical history, medication lists, and other pertinent information with precision. Facilitate effective patient interaction by answering questions, providing instructions, and ensuring a positive experience while adhering to professional communication standards. Achieve HIPAA compliance through diligent handling of sensitive information and following all privacy protocols. Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, verifying insurance information, and managing documentation workflows using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) and EHR systems. Demonstrate physiology and anatomy knowledge to accurately document procedures and assist in emergency situations when necessary. Exhibit strong typing and writing skills to produce clear, concise medical documentation that meets legal and operational standards. Experience Prior experience working in a medical office environment or healthcare setting is highly preferred. Proven proficiency with EMR/EHR systems for managing electronic health records efficiently. Experience with medical transcription, including accurate typing of doctor-patient conversations or clinical notes. Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and clinical confidentiality policies is essential. Emergency room experience or exposure to fast-paced clinical environments is advantageous but not mandatory. Demonstrated ability to achieve HIPAA compliance consistently while handling sensitive patient information. Strong communication skills for effective patient interaction and collaboration within a healthcare team. Pay:
