Medical Assistant/Medical Scribe/Gap Year Student

Ashburn, Purcellville & Winchester Receptionist Responsibilities:

Greeting patients Courteously Checking patients in & out Collecting co-pays Scanning/faxing paperwork Data Entry Answering phones Checking/disseminating messages Make Appointments Ordering/picking up lunch Daily account of receipts

Letters Medical Assistant Responsibilities:

Escorting patients to exam room Thorough History Having correct lab bottle and or patient lab work ready in room for Dr. Notating which exam room patient, and what room Doctor is in Thoroughly cleaning exam room after each patient appointment Keeping providers on schedule Scanning/entering in lab work requests, entering in lab book, putting in box outside, calling lab for pickup Letters Prior Authorizations/Refills authorized by Provider Answer Telephone Checking Messages Make Appointments Setting up for procedure's Daily account on supplies in each exam rooms, supply closets & lab Cleaning instruments daily, ensure instruments are packaged correctly Any other errand needed done All candidates must be able to travel to all 3 locations. Those who cannot need not apply.
