As a Medication Technician, you will help residents stay safe and well by providing accurate medication support and compassionate daily care. What You'll Do Administer medications in accordance with authorized orders, medication schedules, applicable regulations, and community procedures. Accurately document medication administration, refusals, omissions, and other required information in the medication record. Observe residents for changes in condition, side effects, adverse reactions, or concerns and promptly report findings to the appropriate licensed clinical team member. Maintain proper storage, security, inventory control, and handling of medications and medication supplies. Communicate effectively with residents, families, pharmacies, healthcare providers, and community team members as appropriate. What We're Looking For High school diploma or GED, or equivalent, as required. Strong attention to detail, documentation, and medication safety. Ability to communicate clearly and work effectively as part of a care team. Preferred Experience Previous assisted living, memory care, longterm care, or related healthcare experience preferred. Physical & Work Requirements Ability to stand, walk, sit, bend, reach, stoop, and perform the physical functions of the position for extended periods as needed.
