The Lighthouse at Chico is seeking a caring, dependable, and detail-oriented Medication Technician (Med Tech) to join our Assisted Living and Memory Care team. As a Medication Technician, you'll play a key role in supporting resident wellness by administering medications accurately, monitoring residents, and working closely with caregivers and the Wellness Director to provide exceptional care. Accurately document medication administration and resident observations. Monitor residents for changes in condition and promptly communicate concerns to the Wellness Director or licensed nurse. Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed. Maintain medication carts, medication records, and supplies in compliance with community standards. Communicate effectively with residents, families, pharmacies, physicians, and healthcare professionals. Promote resident dignity, independence, and quality of life. Follow infection control procedures, safety protocols, and community policies. Qualifications Previous Medication Technician experience in Assisted Living or Memory Care preferred. Must meet California RCFE requirements to administer medications. Current First Aid and CPR certification preferred. Excellent organizational and communication skills. Compassionate, dependable, and resident-focused. Ability to work independently while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team.
