Full Job Description Job Overview Job Description:
Responsible for assisting the Case Aide with meal service, meal cleanup, medication pass (including bringing medications to residents), housekeeping, and scheduled activities for residents (such as laundry and housekeeping skills and personal hygiene). Responsible for always ensuring the health and safety of the residents. Responsible for residents' well-being and engaging with residents at regular intervals, checking on their needs and safety. Responsible for monitoring facility, visitors and any changes that may occur. Responsible for maintaining cleanliness of the facility including the floors and patio area. Responsible for providing care and supervision, within Title 22 compliance, for facility residents at all times including in the event of an emergency. Responsible for implementation of planned facility emergency procedures and First Aid response protocols. Responsible for documenting all events from the shift in the communication log. Care Aide Assistant must report and document all activities to the Case Aide, Administrator, and Licensee. Must report to the next shift all concerns or changes regarding resident care verbally and through the communication log. Qualifications 18 years of age or older Must possess excellent customer service and communication skills. Experience working in a Community Care Facility is preferred but not required. Must obtain the following before hire: fingerprint and criminal background clearance, first-aid training, physicians report, T.B. clearance, elder abuse training and reporting, and training in medication management.
