Pay:
$20.00 - $22.00 per hour About the Opportunity Quantum Care Place of El Dorado Hills is seeking Medication Technicians for AM, PM, and NOC shifts. The Medication Technician provides resident care while safely supporting medication administration under the direction and delegation of the licensed nurse and in accordance with applicable California requirements. Responsibilities Provide hands-on assistance with activities of daily living and routine resident needs. Dispense and deliver medications accurately under authorized nurse delegation and facility procedures. Follow the five rights of medication delivery: right resident, right medication, right route, right time, and right dose. Document care, medication-related services, and significant changes in resident condition. Report resident concerns to the Resident Care Coordinator, nurse, or Administrator. Protect resident dignity, rights, privacy, and confidentiality. Support meals, scheduled activities, cleaning, laundry, and other resident services as assigned. Qualifications Medication Technician training or delegation authorization required for the assignment under California and facility requirements. Current First Aid and CPR certification, or ability to complete required training within the facility's timeframe. Current Food Handler's Permit, or ability to obtain one if required for the assignment. CNA certification or other required caregiver qualification as applicable to the assignment. Strong attention to detail, sound judgment, dependable attendance, and compassionate communication. Ability to work AM, PM, or NOC shifts and respond appropriately to resident needs.
