This is a full time position with varied, 10-hour shifts at Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla. Shifts are 0700-1745, 0800-1845, 1000-2045, 1330-0012, with rotating weekends off. Responsibilities include:
Obtain medication histories in an accurate, professional and efficient manner for patients newly admitted to the hospital while in the Emergency Department Contacting community pharmacies, outpatient providers, and patient family members to obtain needed medication information and coordinate care Complete assigned leadership roles in departmental projects and programs Performing basic pharmacy technician duties and more advanced pharmacy technician duties
