Job Description

Ridgeline Management Company is dedicated to creating environments where moments of joy, independence, and wellness are the focus each and everyday for our residents and employees. The Medication Assistant is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure delivery of medications and health related items to the residents within the community. The Medication Assistant assists in developing, coordinating, and performing the tasks on the service plan according to the resident's preferences and abilities. 1. Assists with medication administration as directed by the Health Services Director, and in compliance with the Policies and Procedures. 2. Assists residents with activities of daily living, environmental orientation, vital signs, first aid, and communication with outside health care professionals. 3.Demonstrates knowledge of infection control and universal precautions. 4. Maintains current resident record for each resident including but not limited to, obtaining current physician orders, clarifying orders, and alert and monthly charting. 6. Displays mature behavior and attitude in speech and action; demonstrates consistently pleasant demeanor, tone of voice, supports the mission statement and approach to care used by the community. 7. Maintains an acceptable attendance record; notifies supervisor if late or unable to work in accordance with personnel polices; follows the assigned work schedule.
