Full Job Description Responsibilities:

• Provide direct care to residents, including assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Ensure resident rights are respected and upheld at all times
• Assist with social work activities, such as coordinating resident outings or facilitating group activities
• Collaborate with nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure the well-being of residents
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents
• Perform heavy lifting as required to assist residents with mobility or transfers
• Implement behavior management strategies to promote a positive and supportive environment

Skills:

• First aid and CPR certification preferred
• Experience in medication administration is a plus
• Knowledge of resident rights and regulations in a healthcare setting
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with residents, families, and staff members
• Ability to handle challenging behaviors with patience and empathy
• Physical stamina to perform tasks that involve heavy lifting or prolonged periods of standing Please note that this job may require lifting or physical exertion.
