Job Description

Vista Roseville Memory Care Overview Vista Roseville Memory Care is seeking compassionate and dependable Medication Technicians / Caregivers to join our team. In this dual-role position, you will be responsible for assisting residents with daily care needs while ensuring safe and accurate medication administration. This role is essential in promoting the health, dignity, and quality of life of our residents living with Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia. The ideal candidate is attentive, patient, and committed to providing person-centered care in a supportive memory care environment. Key Responsibilities Administer medications to residents in accordance with physician orders, Title 22 regulations, and community policies Accurately document medication administration and care services in the designated system (eMAR/eHR) Monitor residents for changes in condition, behavior, or adverse reactions, and promptly report concerns to nursing or leadership Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility, and dining support Take and record vital signs as required Provide specialized support for residents with dementia and memory care needs, including redirection and engagement Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment in accordance with infection control and safety protocols Ensure compliance with HIPAA and resident confidentiality standards Communicate effectively with team members, residents, and families to support continuity of care Qualifications Previous experience in assisted living, memory care, or long-term care preferred Current Medication Technician certification (or ability to obtain per state requirements) Knowledge of medication administration procedures and basic caregiving practices Familiarity with Title 22 regulations and RCFE standards is preferred Experience working with residents with Alzheimer's or dementia strongly preferred Ability to accurately document care using electronic systems (eMAR/eHR) Strong observational, communication, and interpersonal skills Compassionate, patient, and dependable with a strong attention to detail Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Pay:
$18.00 - $21.00 per hour
